About Me

My name is Lindsay Nicole Russell. My family calls me "Lindsay Lou," "Lou" (hence the title of my page,) and when I'm in trouble, my parents call me, rather yell, "Lindsay Nicole." My friends call me "Boobies." I'm hoping this nickname is self-explanatory.
I am a second semester freshmen, and I am a nursing major, however, I am thinking of switching to psychology. My passion is helping people, whether it be listening to someone vent, giving someone advice, or just bringing a smile onto someone's face with my witty sense of humor (:D). I have the best roommate, and we are each others biggest confidant.
My parents are a bit over protective, and by a bit I'm under-exaggerating. I have two younger sisters, Hillary and Whitney. Hillary is 14 and Whitney is 13. Yeah, I know, my parents got on the ball. They are both the apple of my eye. Hillary and I are very close, closer than any sisters, or even friends, should be. If there's anything you would want to know about me, she could tell you just as well as I, and vice versa.
I tend to come off as stuck-up, simply because I'm shy. I always have been, but I am working aimlessly at correcting this faulty trait. Many of my friends swear up and down that I'm not, but let me reassure you, I am. Once I gain the courage to speak with you, considering most people don't speak to me (thinking I'm stuck-up, and what have you,) the silence is broken, forever. "FOR-EV-ER," I repeat, as the line in my favorite movie, "The Sandlot," goes.
Religiously, I am fairly moderate and politically, I tend to venture toward the Republic avenue. I will get into a debate about certain topics within politics, but I do not and never will argue with anyone due to a difference in political parties.
My two favorite colors are turquoise and amethyst. I apologize for my pickiness. I can't be normal and just say blue or purple, like most people. The only sport I really watch, professionally, is basketball, and I'm a Tarheels fan. My birthday is August 21st. My shoe size 6 1/2 in womens, and a 3 in boys. I am 5'2", single, and like to sing at the top of my lungs, in my car, with the music way too loud. If you hear my stomach growling in class, it’s because I'm on a diet, and let’s just say I used to easily put away some food. Speaking of food, it's dinner time, and the last thing I'll going to tell you about me is that I'm starving.
